System Administrator

Job Detail & Requirement

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Install and configure hardware and software
2.Monitor availability and performance of systems
3.Perform system backups
4.Maintain server procedure and documentation
5.Provides support
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required (Qualification):
1. Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
2. Demonstrated experience performing Unix systems Administration
3. Linux system administrator knowledge
4. Creation and maintenance of documentation for all areas of responsibility
5. Management of standard Linux services
6. Strong scripting abilities
7. Ability to design, articulate, and implement modern, web scale distributed systems
8. Problem solving capabilities
9. Experience automating tasks
10. Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and priorities
11. Has initiative to propose, plan, implement and drive to completion, improvements to
12. development systems
13. Fluency in both written and spoken English
Preferred skills
1. Experience in NoSQL, Caching and Data Warehousing
2. Experience with Linux Containers
3. Experience using/managing databases
4. Systems integration skills (Interoperability)
5. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
6. Configuration and management of source code repositories
7. Experience in deployment and provisioning scripts (Chef, Ansible)
